About Me

Hi, I'm a Scottish physiotherapist. I obtained my BSc in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret College (as it was then), Edinburgh, in 1999.
I have been working with children for most of my career, and have been based in Warrington Cheshire for the past 25 years. I started off in the NHS -I did some general hospital rotations then specialised in paediatrics at Manchester Children's Hospital and then at the Child Development Centre in Warrington. I moved to the private sector in 2014 and opened my own business, Cheshire Children's Physio, in 2018.
I work with children from birth to around 16 years old who have neurological disorders/disabilities/developmental delay, my referrals come from private individuals, or from Case Managers. I am community based, I work with children in their own home, nursery or school, or local hydrotherapy pool.
I am Bobath trained and the Bobath approach informs what I do, but mainly my ethos for physiotherapy is all about the Five F words - fun, function, family, fitness and friends.
